The Department of IT was established in 2012, but the undergraduate programmes commences fully in 2017/2018 Academic Session with the enrolment of the first set of undergraduate students into level 100 of the 4-year degree programme. The Department runs two undergraduate.

2) B.Sc. Cyber Security

The department also runs a professional masters degree: Masters of Information and Communication Technology since which commenced in 2014/2015 Academic Sessions.

The department has two dedicated state-of-art laboratories and two shared laboratories. The department is blessed with high caliber of dedicated and highly qualified staff, we are committed in equipping our graduands with both theoretical and practical skills and knowledge in computing.
